Hi there. I'm Daniel, a full-stack developer with over 6 years of experience in fintech and 3+ years of hands-on software engineering. I enjoy building responsive sites & apps that function intelligently to support your business and its operations. My focus is React (Next.js).
About me
After working for 10+ years in Finance Operations, I decided to pursue my passion for software engineering and I enrolled in a coding bootcamp where I learned full-stack web development. My favorite part of programming is the problem-solving aspect. I love the feeling of finally figuring out a solution to a new problem and seeing the code execute successfully. My core stack is React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB. I am also familiar with TypeScript, Python, Java, and PostgreSQL. I am always looking to learn new technologies. I am currently looking for a full-time position as a software developer.
When I'm not coding, I enjoy horseback riding, listening to audio books, and knitting. I also enjoy learning new things. At the moment I'm diving deep into learning about historical fiber-working techniques. I'm also constantly working at my life-long endeavor to learn how to play the cello.
